About the business and the role

A Tavola was established in 2007 in buzzing Darlinghurst on Victoria Street by chef owner Eugenio Maiale. A Tavola quickly earnt a reputation of being one of Sydney's best places to go for authentic Italian pasta. The long marble table is filled with loyal and regular diners – all seduced by the simplicity and honesty of Eugenio's food and especially his love of good pasta.

A Tavola has now become Sydney's go to place for Pasta. Fast forward to today and the A Tavola group now consists of A Tavola Darlinghurst, A Tavola Bondi, Flour Eggs Water in Surry Hills and Flour Eggs Water at the Tramsheds in Glebe.

Job tasks and responsibilities

We are recruiting for a Restaurant Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for your own restaurant reporting directly to the owner. You will need proven experience in the hospitality industry in a similar role. We need people with initiative... people with drive and people with passion for what they do. 

Skills and experience

  • Previous experience in a similar role 
  • Able to work autonomously
  • The ability to build rapport with guests and staff
  • Excellent communication, delegation and management skills
  • The ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Driven, self aware and results focused.
  • A love of all things Italian!
