Oyster Bar Elizabeth Quay is looking to hire a hardworking, hands on Managers and casual bar staff to join our current team.

The Oyster Bar offers SA oysters and local wine along with tapas and share foods with all day dining on our level one dinning area and roof top bar.

We are looking to hire a bar manager who enjoys working in a busy fast paced environment, who has a great work ethic and a love of local products.

The management position is a hands on position requiring you to work along side your team of staff and managers.

All applicants should be highly driven and motivated and have the desire and passion for delivering a quality product. All applicants must be highly organised and be able to deliver a high level of customer service.

You must possess strong organisational skills, excellent wine, beer, cocktail and spirit knowledge and be 100% customer focused.  

Full time hours, over 7 days and will include nights and weekends, with a competitive salary package.

If you have experience working or assisting in busy kitchens and have a passion for producing quality food then this is a role for you.

The role and responsibilities include:            

·     Coordinating the responsibilities of the food and    beverage staff ensuring that duties are appropriately allocated.

·     Coordinating any group bookings and functions for the bar

·     Assisting the Operations Manager with suggested food and beverage improvements and marketing opportunities.

·     Working hands on in both the bar and kitchen areas to deliver a high level of service

·     Ensure staff are appropriately trained in monitoring the intoxication levels of all patrons to ensure that alcohol is not served to an intoxicated person.

·     Assisting the food and beverage attendants with taking food and beverage orders from patrons and service of drinks.

·     Undertaking appropriate induction and training of new staff

·     Have a love for producing consistently great food

·     Experience working in busy kitchen operations, using fryers, hot plates, grills and preparation of food items 

·     Hold a current Approved Managers Certificate
