About the role

An opportunity exists for a Personal Care Worker to join our team at Homesteads Aged Care Service in the delivery of services to our 41 residents. You will be a hands-on individual looking for diversity in a role. In this multi-tasked care role you will be responsible for providing direct care to residents with both high and low care needs.

About you

You are often praised for your compassionate nature and approachability. You will have the ability to easily establish and build rapport with people, in addition to being a naturally caring and positive individual. You are an enthusiastic reliable worker, who enjoys being a team player, yet can work autonomously.

Your experience and qualifications for this role ideally, should include:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or Certificate III in Aged Care;
  • Current First Aid Certificate is desirable;
  • Solid demonstrated experience in Aged Care;
  • Willingness to work a variety of shifts, across a 7 day week, with availability at short notice;
