Tangalooma Wild Dolphin Resort, located on Moreton Island, is one of the most respected Island Resorts on the Eastern Seaboard of Australia. The Resort caters to both the Domestic and International Markets and is renowned for its Dolphin Care and Research Programme.  We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Maintenance Electrician to join our organisation.

Trade qualified, preferably with experience with communications systems, you will be a member of the Utilities team, which is generally responsible for the upkeep of all services within the Resort. You are self-motivated, have an eye for detail and are able to work unsupervised.

The Utilities Department at Tangalooma are responsible for all Hot and Cold Water Mains, Irrigation, Irrigation controls, Pumps and potable water treatment Plant, sewage treatment plant, Sewage pumping wells, air conditioning systems, Fire controls and services, capital works installs and others. As the resorts maintenance electrician, you would be responsible for the general upkeep of all electrical systems, circuits and goods at the resort and work with external contractors at times. The electrician generally works on all white goods, circuit faults, new works, general electrical maintenance, phone systems, data and comms’ systems and assists utilities as needed..

Own transportation is not required as you will be living on resort premises on Moreton Island with all meals supplied with all other community live in staff in staff quarters.
