As one of Australia’s biggest banks, we’re in a position to make a real difference in people’s lives – and not just financially either. We’re focusing our attention on more than money. On the connections we share with our customers, and the great things we can do to make life easier for them.
That’s why we’re so driven to do big things in the tech space. By innovating the way we work to be more agile than ever, we can deliver more value – in less time.
Doing that requires the insights and expertise of a truly talented Senior Analyst Programmer . If you're always thinking about what's possible, we want to hear from you.
About the role
You’ll be involved in the management, development and ongoing maintenance of the Cards Asset Test Environments at NAB. In addition, you’ll be responsible for the development/integration of new proactive monitoring tools, maintenance of existing tools and contribute to and lead the continuous improvement of our applications, focusing on MBS (Merchant Bankcard System).
You’ll also be leading the uplift in our capability – working to make sure we’re exceeding industry standards, mentoring and driving other people in the team to do the same across our testing environments.
Who you’ll be working with
You’ll be joining our Banking Products and Markets Operations (BPMO) team, working across our cards assets to deliver real value for our customers and business. BMPO are accountable for some of the most critical services and projects at NAB.
What we need from you
We’re after someone who can hit the ground running. So you’ll need technical expertise in testing and environments as well as experience working with Cobol, JCL, DB2, IMSDB, MVS Assembler, MQ Series, SQL, Ezytrieve, Endevor, DFSort, BMC Remedy and OPC. A good track record in development and/or support in an ITIL framework and driving continuous improvement will be important too.
Working in a fast-paced environment, you’ll need to be comfortable with agile and scrum methods. Experience in a cards asset specific application will be a big plus – as will experience working with VisionPlus TRAMS, ACAPS and BaseGlobal. And you’ll also need to have the people skills to compliment all that technical knowledge – working well collaboratively, motivating others and building connections will be key in this role.
