• Increase the Customer base through the active promotion and sale of products and services
• Reduce Customer attrition through the delivery of excellent customer service
• Gather market information to assist in market analysis
• Survey customer premises and recommend portable fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with procedures and processes
• Sell the full range of portable fire protection and safety systems, equipment, and services
• Identify, install, test, diagnose, service and repair breathing apparatus and other safety equipment in accordance with procedures and processes
• Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including; i-Service hand held technology
• Maximise efficiencies via route planning, time management, stock management, and service delivery
• Participate in stocktakes and be responsible for inventory management
• Manage and maintain all assigned company property, including documents, tools, equipment, vehicles, product, etc
• Report work progress and performance by completing productivity / key performance indicator (KPI) reports

Skills & Experience
• Up to date product and industry knowledge, and an understanding of where to locate the relevant information
• A solid knowledge of the applicable Australian Standards relevant to Safety Equipment
• Professional experience or qualifications specified by any applicable local classification structure
• A technical or engineering competency with the ability to complete Certificate 2 in Asset Maintenance (Fire protection Equipment), and other identified company, industry and occupational training and accreditation
• Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks, plan and prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines
• Well developed communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prepare written reports and quotations where required
• Ability to identify, target and close sales opportunities
• Professional approach to Customer Service
• Ability to work to required defined policies, procedures, and processes, including Company and applicable Australian Standards
• Ability to monitor progress and performance using Key Performance Indicators / Metrics
• Ability to take initiative
